How green pool cleaning works

We treat the algae, balance the water, and clean the surfaces until the pool is crystal clear again. Then it can go back on a regular weekly maintenance schedule so it stays that way.

Free on-site quote. We come out, test your water, and look at the pool and what is around it. You get a clear price before any work starts.

Treat the algae. We treat the algae and get the water chemistry back under control.

Clean the surfaces. We brush the walls and steps, scrub the waterline tile, vacuum, and empty the skimmer and pump baskets.

Balance and check. We test and balance the water until it is clear and swim-ready.

Keep it clear. Most customers move to our weekly service after the cleanup. That way the pool does not turn green again.

How long does it take?

Many pools clear in about 3 to 7 days. It depends on how bad the algae is and how much follow-up the pool needs.

Why pools turn green in Pinellas County

Largo sits between Tampa Bay and the Gulf. Heat, humidity, pollen and afternoon storms all push water chemistry out of balance. Heavy rain can dilute the sanitizer. Storms add leaves and debris. Warm, sunny days help algae grow fast. A pool that looked fine last weekend can be cloudy or green after a few hot, rainy days.

Stay clear with weekly pool cleaning

Many of our customers started with a one-time green-to-clean and then switched to weekly service once they saw the difference. Weekly residential service starts at $150 a month and Airbnb and short-term rental pools at $160 a month, with all chemicals and a monthly filter clean / backwash included. Every visit includes skimming, vacuuming, brushing, basket emptying, water testing and chemical balancing. You get an email report with photos and readings after every visit. There is no long-term contract.
